Background

The scissor lift aerial work platform is widely used special equipment for aerial work. With the mechanical structure, the lifting platform has higher stability. The large working platform together with the high carrying capacity makes it suitable for multiple people to work at the same time with a larger working range of aerial work.

Requirements

One end of the scissor connecting rod is connected with the hydraulic system in the chassis, and the other end is connected to the uppermost end of the shear arm. The scissor connecting rod is hydraulically driven to lift and lower the telescopic arms which make the platform move up and down.

Generally, depending on the size of the scissor lift aerial work platform and the elevated height, 1-2 pressure transmitters will be applied to the hydraulic pump. Application requirements are as below:

1. Small size, easy to install.

2. High overload, corrosion resistance, and no leakage-free.

3. Long-term stability with strong anti-interference ability.

4. mV signal or analog voltage, current, or digital signal output.

Solution

For the special requirements of pressure transmitters in this industry, we have specially developed a product suitable for scissor lift aerial work platform, MPM4511 pressure transmitter. Features below:

1. The core component is a stainless steel cavity that has a micro-fused strain gauge sintered on the back by high-temperature glass powder. There is no "O" ring, no welding, no oil-filling, no isolated diaphragm. It can measure the fluid medium with a small number of impurities with no hidden dangers.

2. The overload capacity of the sensor is 2x FS, the burst pressure is 5x FS, and it is suitable for high-pressure overload.

3. MPM4511 is a small size pressure transmitter, easy to install, and has high reliability.

4. The internal circuit is temperature compensated. In the standardized production process, the parameters are strictly controlled, avoiding the influence of temperature, humidity, and mechanical fatigue, performing high frequency response and wide working temperature, etc.

5. MPM4511 has a strong ability of anti-electromagnetic interference which ensures the long-term stability of the sensor used in the industrial harsh environment.
