In global maritime operations, real-time, precise, and reliable liquid level monitoring in ballast water tanks is critical for vessel stability and safety. Designed specifically for the complex and corrosive conditions of marine and shipbuilding applications, the MPM426W Series submersible level transmitters deliver maintenance-free operation and exceptional data accuracy under the most demanding conditions.
Marine Type Approvals & Compliance
Fully certified with DNV (Det Norske Veritas), ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), and CCS (China Classification Society) type approvals. The MPM426W Series strictly complies with IMO (International Maritime Organization) regulations, ensuring seamless global compliance, vessel safety, and straightforward system integration for international fleets.
Superior Corrosion Resistance
Designed for harsh, high-salinity seawater, the level transmitter housing is available in Full Titanium (Ti) or 316L Stainless Steel. This optimized metallurgical selection prevents galvanic corrosion and severe pitting. With an exceptionally low corrosion rate in seawater, it eliminates the risk of perforation of the housing and water ingress during long-term immersion.
Hermetically Sealed IP68 Full-Welded Construction
Featuring a robust, all-welded seal combined with a patented cable-locking design, the transmitter achieves an IP68 ingress protection rating. This heavy-duty sealing technology ensures the internal electronics remain completely isolated from moisture, salt spray, and particulate contaminants, vastly outlasting conventional marine-level sensors.
Robust Anti-Interference Capabilities
Equipped with an in-house developed, high-precision piezoresistive sensor core, the level probe features wide-temperature compensation to maintain accuracy across fluctuating thermal zones. The high performance in terms of vibration and interference resistance filters out the mechanical noise and sloshing effects inherent in vessel propulsion, delivering stable, real-time liquid level data.
Streamlined Installation & Maintenance-Free Design
The hydrostatic type, drop-in submersible design eliminates the need for complex flange mounting or tank modifications, adapting effortlessly to various tank depths. With no moving parts or wearable components, the ship-use instruments significantly lower shipboard maintenance and operational costs.
Our level measurement solutions are seamlessly integrated into the automation systems of Bulk Carriers, Container Ships, Oil Tankers, and Passenger Vessels, delivering support for:
